The Space opened in September 2011 with the aim of providing a non stressful, fun orientated environment for any age to learn to dance and perform. You learn at your pace, you join the classes you want, you build and enhance your confidence in a world full of pressure. 'The Space' allows you to take some time back for you, your children and friends.
The Space Dance Studio based in Hull offers a variety of classes for everyone (all ages and abilities welcome).

The Space Dance studio aims to offer as many opportunities as possible for all Students. We offer two Shows a year for all our classes to allow children to showcase their progress throughout the term and to gain performance confidence. All our shows are options and are free of choice for students to take part, there is no pressure, just lots of fun.
We also take part in performances within the city such as the Freedom Festival and the Creative Voice Platform.

Samantha Rogerson
Dance Director
Samantha is the director of The Space Dance Studio in Hull and has been for 9 years. She is a dance artist that has worked in many areas of Hull and East Riding as well as around the UK and also in New York. Samantha has a BA Honours degree in Performing Arts – Dance, PGCE and an MA in Choreography, She also has a diploma in Child Psychology, Alexander Technique, Yoga and Person Centred Counselling.
Samantha has been dancing since a very young age, competing up and down the country for many years in many different dance styles. Samantha can teach many styles of dance from Ballroom and Latin to Contemporary, Street and Musical Theatre.
